This information may help you to ‘date’ your Lowrey organ and find out the true manufacturing date.
The date of manufacture is in the serial number.
The letter in the serial number is the month of manufacture: A B C D E F G H J K L M (Jan to Dec). Note that the letter ‘I’ is not used)
In other words:
A=January
B=February
C=March
D=April
E=May
F=June
G=July
H=August
J=September
K=October
L=November
M=December
The first number after the letter is the year.
Example:
K1 (Oct. 2001)
B5 (Feb. 2005)
